Deadline Day

Yesterday, I had my final tutorial before submission. I had already rendered my plans but needed to make a few changes. It was a little frustrating having to make alterations at this point, yet, the modifications may boost my mark. The unexpected changes delayed my schedule; my final document suffered. I had planned to produce a written analyse throughout my presentation and a rationale at the end to explain my development and design process. However, I did not have time to write a conclusion. I've learnt that I should leave room for error in my schedules. If I arranged a tutorial, for earlier that week, I would have been able to alter my plan (before rendering it) and had enough time to work on my presentation. When preparing for submission, I realised that I hadn't produced many sketches of my layout. I made several developments since drawing my initial ideas, but I started working in AutoCAD so didn't record them. I wish I had sketched a final layout before jumping into AutoCAD as I would have exhibited my progression. I think this may affect my overall mark. There is always tension surrounding my deadlines. I don't ever feel prepared! I know they are coming, plan my time accordingly and submit with hours to spare but still never feel comfortable when it concerns the due date. I need to learn how to be confident and self-assured. I've now submitted, and I am keen to get my mark.
