The New Adelphi building facilitates an abundance of creative courses. However, the current reception area does not communicate the artistic atmosphere within the building. The new reception desk represents human expression and movement. It is a functional desk that provides storage, a workspace for two people and seating for visitors as well as an installation that symbolises creativity. The reception is easy to locate as its spiral form is visible from all entrances. The finish of the desk is Staron, backlit with LED lighting to creates a glowing illusion at night. Another feature is an LED message board that shares announcements to the rest of the building.
