Visual of installation in space.
Ordsall Hall is a grade one listed building based in Salford, Manchester. The colour walk is an installation that appreciates the historical features of the building, such as the oriel windows. The steel frame exhibits stain glass artwork, produced by the public, exposing the hall’s relationship with its community. Artificial and natural lighting illuminate the structure composing rainbow reflections. Visitors will walk through the expanding tunnel based in the Great Hall. The installation will get the community involved and encourage users to donate to the museum.
