Choosing A Logo

I have been going backwards and forwards with my logo. As I edit my CV and portfolio, I've had to change my logo to fit in with my scheme. I currently cannot decide between two designs. The first design (figure 1) is the logo I have continuous developed since the module launched. The second is one I have put together in a few hours. I like both, but I slightly prefer my first logo as I spent time developing its concept. I decided to put a poll on my Instagram stories to see which logo was favoured.

My story had a good amount of interaction with over 30 voters. I even had people direct messaging me their opinions. The results were close, with 44% of people choosing my first logo and 56% choosing the second. Although most of my followers preferred my newest logo, I rebelled and decided I liked my original logo more. Creating this poll allowed me to overcome my indecisiveness, and I stuck with my gut. I think the opportunity to create polls on social media networks such as Instagram is beneficial. I will use this again to interact with my followers and hear their opinions about my work.
